The rules of the present simple

En esta primera sesión revisaremos los usos del presente simple en Inglés

We use the present tense to talk about:

• Routines:

I wake up at 7 o´clock 

She cooks every Saturdays

• We use words like sometimes, often. always, and never (adverbs of frequency) with the present tense:

They sometimes come to class.

it never works well

• something that is a general true:

The sun raises at the east.

Water freeze at 0°c

• something that is fixed in the future.

The new course starts next Friday

 He plays next Sunday.
